Hey Ice Experts :D

Recently I've been thinking about improving the ICE in my car. I have the HK system ATM with the Dension IceLink which I'm quite impressed with compared to the standard BMW setup. I just want to add a little more punch to the setup without loosing the factory look.

I'm going to be installing a Sony sound on top amp this weekend to see if it improves the quality of the main speakers. While I'm at it I have a Focal 27 V2 boxed sub and Soundstream amp from my last car, would these ruin the sound? If not how would I get a signal to the amp ( I have a line to rca adaptor thingy) would I run it off the HK Sub?

Any help would be appreciated as this is going to be my weekend job.

Cheers

Dan

dude, the sony sound on top system wont really help you. its is not a system that i recommend at all. i would get the soundstream equipment you have got fitted and get a proper amp to run the fronts and rears.

Andy, cheers for your input.

I'm just testing the sony amp at the moment, will sell it on if it doesnt give any decent improvement.

My priority is keeping it looking standard with minimal cost, I had a pioneer head unit in my last BM and hated the way it looked, plus I think the Dension kit for the BMW is the best around.

Any suggestions how would I tap into the wiring to get a decent signal to the amp.
