Whassup my bmw brethren , hooked up andy p and afif last nite, was driving home on the mean streats of n.w. london.

Then.......

Some drunkass aussie dude runs in the road...i was doin bout 40, f*cker had no damage on him (thank god) but my motors got damage on the a pillar , a dent the size of a clenched fist....

Cops , reports , producer , breathalyzer ......(Kebabish curry would've fucked that machine right up) usual sh1t....guy says he was sorry and sh1t , kinda indicated he would pay......i know where he lives and got him proper checked out by the cop (the cop had initially only asked the dude for is mob no.)

Advice guys............i kno it's a civil matter now , and i kno it sounds harsh but that f*ckers stupidity has caused damage on my motor....and i wanna get some cash outta him....

That sucks major ass bro.

First off, your car sounds fucked. Dents on the A pillar are usually classed as a write off by insurance companies as they play a major part of structural rigidity. Take it to a PROPER bodyshop asap and get it checked out.

As for the matter of the aussie geezer. Several options. You can make a claim against the motorists insurance bureau. It's a place where anyone can make a claim,normally in cases where a driver with no insurance hits you. A portion of your premium goes to these guys, so you have every right to at least put in a claim.

Another option is to get a civil action against this guy, which will cost money, time and no guarantee of a result.

The final option is to ring him, tell him you want to meet him to make sure he's ok, then get the cash off him by any means necessary

Fas...thanx for the advice.....the dent on the a- pillar (without beeing a dumbass i assume thats the pillars the windscreen is in between) is quite small, it's like he hit it with his elbow or something....no paint crack or anything....

gonna get it checked though....initial thought was it's a filler job....

I'd say first course of action is to contact the guy and ask him how he's going to compensate you. You can indeed claim with the MI Bureau (heh the MIB, get will Smith on his ass..) and that's worth doing anyway. I think you could probably claim against his house insurance also, if it covers him for accidental damage outside the home (yes, seriously). At least give him the benefit of the doubt once (just once, mind) and offer him a chance to be a man about the whole thing. Most of us have gone out and got sh1t-faced at least once, I bet he's feeling bruised this morning and if he's an ok guy then he may just do the decent thing. If he starts trying to bend you over, then break out the bat and make with the ultimatums. But the nice way is better for you if he'll play along.

Bummer about your ride in the meantime though, hope it isn't bad..

Simple way is to take it to a body shop (i recomend the one who sorted mine out... Fas's contact up in slough). Although knowing you bruv you got mans on the case already. Get a quote. Give the brer a call and let him know, if he dont pay it im up for some old school scare tactics :cool:.
