A mate of mine has challenged me to a drag race says he can beat me just because his is a coupe  I know its all just a laugh but just wonder what you thought, i think it will be close maybe even down to the quickest off the line.
He drives a stock 323 coupe and mine is a 328 saloon with remap, CAI, catback exhaust, last rolling road test shown i was putting out 219bhp and 234lbf against his 170bhp and 181lbf i should beat him right:D :o
Im running 19s and hes on 18s could help him out a bit, might have to take my ICE out :D
Drag race will be off road at detlin show ground kents moddifed cars show if any one wants to come watch :D

You should be able to eat him man! Just ake sure you have no passengers, high octane fuel, and a clean CAI for the day! that should help it abit :)
I really gotta try and come up watch, surely you will get a vid clip?

You will tear him a new ass. If you remember my 330 was only slightly pulling away going to the ring in april and that was at high speed, it will be a walk over. When is this happening, might come over to fly the flag for Ian :p .

I think your mate has a few 'inadequacy' issues...
PS: And you're not much better for rising to it. :p

u have the slight advantage but you often see (like at santa pod) where drivers with faster cars often mess up their starts so driver ability will be more key me thinks:D

To be honest this is what i was thinking, and its going to be down to who gets the best start.
My car has been know to slip the cluch from a standing start, id be gutted if that happens and he beats me :o might do best of 3 :)
