I'm making the germany/infinitas trip on 14th April to get the SK+ fitted to my 330ci, and wondered if there was anything else I can get from them whilst I'm there to increase bhp :D
I'm gonna get the aftercooler too when it comes out, don't want the flywheel because of the noise at idle, just wondered if there were any pullies etc. or exhaust that I could get from them to increase BHP that I could add to my set up.....
Any advice welcome.
Thanks
Kris

You can an exhaust system but Infinitas sells Eisenmann exhausts anyway. Pulleys are not recommended, I spoke Chris before about this and he said it would invariably alter the boost control.
More power....get SK1 :D :D
Have a look at some of their accessories, some very pretty pedals and gear nob ;)
One more thing, you have to try the 100RON fuel in Europe.......AWESOME!

You get 100 RON fuel in Europe, a grade above Optimax.
The gear knob is a must, i was going to ask why you ASA boys dont have them .... real nice if you ask me

Great
So, how much roughly extra bhp would I get from adding the einsman exhaust to the SK+? and also, is it super loud or just a bit louder than stock?
Can't wait to get some of that petrol in my tank too :D
Lee330, how's your stock clutch holding out so far?
Cheers

Eisenmaan is only loud when the foot is on the floor. But its no boy racer sound or drony.Just a nice deep growl. No louder than stock when cruising.
Clutch is fine, because the car is still off the road. :(

Ray, they only sell the 100ron stuff in europe, mainly germany and greece, couple of others.
We get ripped off again here in blighty, with the other stuff  still optimax and octane booster is good. [hmm (oh and ya optimax points card doesn't work in germany [fight

Take this from me, buy a back box for the noise and not performance. Gains will be minimal. If you want a performance exhaust, change the most restrictive parts first before even touching the back box; the manifold and kats :)

Do you recon then if I got the full Einsman system from Infinitas that would include the manifold and de-cat pipes?
Otherwise, could I just buy the cat pips and manifold elsewhere and keep my standard back box, as I actually like the sound of the stock exhaust, especially with the roof down!
Lee330 - how come you're off the road mate? Still waiting for CA to sort your pulleys on the SK?
Cheers

Dont think you can get a new manifold for RHD cars - only specially made.
The frame that the pullies sit on is bent. The pulley spacer has actually embedded itself into the frame, thats why its sitting at an angle. Belt has snapped too so cant even move it.lol
Just miss driving it now :(

I bet you can't wait to get it back on the road! Gonna fire an email off to infinitas to see if they offer anything else, might as well get it whilst I'm out there!
Anyone seen that 3.3 B3 engine for sale in the classifieds? 1,600quid! Would that fit into a 330 without any problems?
Cheers

Damn right i cant wait. Might do some more bodywork while im waiting.
Will an SK+ fit a B3.3 [hmm
no idea lee. More important question will a B3.3 fit in my engine bay ;) [crackmeup. Even if it did the insurance company would cancel my policy quiker than i could do the 1/4 mile with it.

MK do a full system for the 330, including manifold and sport cats. If I remember rightly, cost is £2500 approx but bhp gains was 20bhp+. I think Cadini sell them.

If you're going the whole hawg, you should change the rear box to take full advantage of the system. Your stock rear box will not sound anywhere near stock if you change your mainifold and kats. Also, de-kat doesn't work with the sensitive electronics on E46s, the best you can do is 100CEL kats (which would improve exhaust gas flow by 30-40%)
SK+ fit a B3.3
No. Did ask about it :D

Kats are not cheap. The problem with non-M e46 is that the factory kats are intergrated onto the factory monifold. So if you got aftermarket kats, you will need aftermarket manifolds as well (aftermarket kats are aft of the downpipes). Just the kats alone you're looking at £400-700 each (for M54 engined cars 320/325/330) you need 2 of them as the exhaust has twin pipes aft of the downpipes. Your 323 will have just one.

That price is HIGH!
Will probably just get a backbox purely for cosmetic reasons!
