AA tuning is renowned for their unique sound and muffler design, Eisenmann is a custom built exhaust system in return you get a system that's built to the exact spec made by you (i.e. sound level, tip design, quad etc) Roy and me will be happy to assist if anyone wants the Eisenmann exhaust.

Lol use to have the ACS back box on my M but it drowned lyk a cat on crack.... anyway i need a need back box or system... i hate the tinny sound on the factory system... but i dont lyk loud systems... what would u guyz recommened? Kav recommened the supersprint... may go for the full system, but i want to fill the gap in my rear bumper to the max... The AA box is gorgeous aswell... Has anyone used the scorpion quad box?

Sorry to jack the thread

i was thinking of getting the rouge exhuast because of those very reasons... it doesnt drone on motorway its quiet under low revs allowing u 2 creep back home without pissing off the nieghbours and when it idles its suppose 2 be quieter than the stock exhuast but when u put the foot down it sounds great!.... but i dont really like the look of the pipes :( so i was looking for the same specs but better looks

hi all ,

As the only official exclusive ( ahem ..) [jam

importer of Rogue Engineering products , I would say their exhaust is VERY good ( well I would wouldnt I ....) but if you are worrired about noise , even at idle, I would suggest this one may not be for you ; even at idle it's presence is felt , more so than the oem exhaust in our experience .
If you want a nice burble at idle and a banshee wail at at full chat then I suggest Active , if you want somewhere in between then Eisenmann ..but active just gets the vote for me due to :
- exclusivity , relatively
- unique " folded over " tip design
- lovely rasp at full throttle
- amazing build quality , seamless welds and polish

hey invisible , hope all is well

apologies for my lack of contact , but as per the announcement on the forums home pages , our website and e mail system has been down since Monday , plus the evotechnik e mail notification is not working so I did not see your requests until now ...apolos again .

Right , the active exhaust only comes as a back box ; eisenmann also offers connecting "soundpipes" and de kat pipes ( latter too loud , ask Nick ) , and supersprint also offer connecting and de kat pipes .

We have sucessfully mixed and matched most of the above , so if you send me your prefernce I will come backwith best price I can .

Silver .....apols to you regarding this hanger bracket issue , I had no idea , i will send Active your pics and feedback now so it wont happen again hopefully .

Eisenmann Race exhaust with hi-flow 'de-kat' pipes (not actual kat bypass pipes but just the description Eisenmann uses) and sound pipes.

Until then what you can do is go into your options and select the options to auto subscribe to every thread you post in then everytime you come here you just have to go to the control panel and it will show you if anyone has replied to any of the threads. Anyways it gives you an excuse to come see us daily :D.

Hi there

Question, I'm looking to get an exhaust that is not too loud. I'm looking at maybe an einsman, but want it to be close to stock quietness at idle and under low acceleration, but come alive under heavy acceleration.
Any ideas anyone? Probably looking for the backbox and pipes, but which are better for me, high flow pipes or sound pipes or both?

Cheers

Kris

lee330sport
14-03-2005, 11:34 AM
Cant speak for the AA, But the Eisenmann race is exactly how you want it. Although by the sounds of things youll not want the hi-flow pipes, Im getting them but i want mine to be louder :D . Pepper was told by the police to take them off.lol

kris d
14-03-2005, 02:32 PM
Sweet, so what's the difference in soundpipes and the other pipes?
Roughly how much will one set me back?

Cheers
Kris

lee330sport
14-03-2005, 02:36 PM
Soundpipes remove the rear 2 resonators and the hiflow pipes remove the front 2.

Should set you back around £500

You usually buy the parts separately, most exhaust manufacturers do this. Most people tend to just go for the backbox.
