Hi all
just reading the posts on this forum and i must admit its the best one i have read so far as its not confusing like others
I have a 2001 bmw (e46) 330ci vert that i have just bought and wanna upgrade the sounds in it.
i dont know what to go for?? either
1> Alpine 310rr and maybe a cd or dvd changer at a later date
or
2> Kenwood 627dvd and then with the extra money upgrade the front speakers etc??
Could andy or co give me prices for the above?? with and without install?
Or if anyone has better suggestions then pls reply
thanks all
great forum!
Get the alpine, you will not regret it. So many options to play with !!!

that was the 1st option...but always best to have a backup plan!!
i know you can change the background pictures etc...but can you have them to what you want? ie pic of your car / family if you desire??
Not easy for the average guy to change the pics to his choice. There is a guy who has done it but it involves hacking the alpine code.
This is the website http://www.pride-rock.com/apn/

alpine.
its looks so much better in a bmw. open or closed (screen), the sound is better and upgradable.

everything includes hacking these days??
why dont companies just leave the stuff so you can customise it how you want??? end of the day its only a wallpaper??

The 310 is on a different planet to the Kenwood. Absolutely different class.
Andy's been running around and about today, so if he doesn't see this thread by tomorrow then give him a call at his shop on 01189 310 888 and I'm sure he can cut you a decent price.
