I use the menz pro range with my PC and find it excellent. No problem to use and the new ceramic range can be worked for ages without much dusting. I have seen the FMJ used but decided to go for the chemical guys EZ glaze and followed by the factory sealant and have to say I love the results.

I gave my own car a good going over a few weeks ago and it took me ages. nearly two weeks to do the whole car. the bonnet alone took me over 5 hours with power gloss followed by intensive polish, final finish, glaze and then sealant. BMW paint is hard as rock if you didn't already know. To be honest I'm not sure the SSR2.5 will do the job. Take your time with the slow cut technique and you may get rid of any swirls you have.

Damn!

You sound like a bit of a resident detailing expert. Over 5 hours doing the bonnet... damn I wouldnt polish my tool for that long. :D

watch the ride.

Wouldn't say I'm an expert but I have done a couple of cars for friends. It's a misunderstood thing polishing and once you get into it you can realise that you have wasted so much time. A real proper valet will take anything from 6 hours right up to about 16 for a car with poor condition hard paint. Like my BM. Here are a couple of pics to see what I've done.

and lastly the bonnet work complete

i love the FMJ - amazing finish!

the 2.5 wont hit the car great for swirl marks tho mate.... i have moved onto blackfire which is amazing for the hard BMW paints though - had astounding results

enjoy your weekends work though mate!!!

i love detailing!

i used Swirl free polish 82 Show car glaze 7 #21 Synthetic Sealant #26 Hi-Tech Yellow Liquid Wax

I seen 2.5 using aggressive pad. and it works...just have to go slow on it.

VW/Audi paints is alot hard then bmw paint!!...bloody hard work when i did my frds audi and Vw.
