After being out bid numerous times on an m3 strut brace i was made up to get an as new complete one at Gaydon last week. I had barely returned home than the socket set was out :D :D
I ran a search and pulled up some (very easy) fitting instructions and all was going well untill i realised that the nuts i got with it are just the original strut tower nuts and not the strut brace nuts :mad:
I took a trip to a local dealers to ask if they are special order or if they have any in, the reply i got defies belief.
For what is little more than six m8 nuts and plastic covers bmw want £35 :eek:
The parts i'm missing are 5 and 6

The original strut nuts do fit ok but the bolt thread doesn't come through enough. Any ideas fellas or will i have to fork out bmw specialist part price
