hi guys
does anyone knows how to change a steptronic gearknob?
is it similar to a manual one?
i've bought this one, it matches my trims, but not sure how to fit.
also saw a ACS one below sold for £84 in ebay, i should have bid for it, but i would prefer the silver cf one instead of the black cf.

Thats how mine came off!
Give it a gentle tap down with the palm of your hand first, then pull..

Andy - I'm going to have a unique entire silver carbon fibre E39 interior with gearknob for sale soon - ordered it as a custom job from Teddy before I decided to change cars!
I'll post pics when it arrives.
BTW Rossi - did you get that gearknob from me on eBay?

Scorcher, can you let me know when you get the CF trim. One of my guys have the sweetest M5 replica and he's run out of ideas of what to do. I'll take pics next time I see him to show you, it's a 525 and it's in a custom colour and looks amazing

when I had my genuine ACS silver cf auto shifter for sale about 3 years ago no one wanted it (put it on ebay for £40 and no bidder) and I had to sell it to a guy in the US on the fanatics forum for 40 dollars
Just pull the focker out mate lol [fight
