OK - im following this guide,

http://www.circlebmw.com/service/access/e46armrest.htm

And i think i need 2 new nuts/or screws with washers to bolt the arm rest to the chassis...

Its figure C on the instructions and its the bit which says

"Put speed nuts (1) on the armrest support (ci) of the armrest (c). Screw the support (ci) and handbrake lever together using bushes (dl and screws (e). Tightening torque = 22m "

What are the part number for the bits numbered e and d? The original nuts u take out are too short...

It says I need these at the start but i didnt get any with my center arm rest.

Thanks

Jamie

Did you buy the armrest from a dealer? Is it new?

These screws and washers should come with the new armrest but if you bought it secondhand, you need 3 long screws, bushing and washer from your dealer. I'll check out the part no. for you when I get home tonight.
