Whats with the winch though ? How do we know it wasn't assisting on the way up ?

Either way, I wouldn't fancy reversing the car back down the slope :eek:

I think the winch was for safety, incase it went sideways into the barriers and off the side... my german isn't very good, could anyone translate?
~8mm spikes with skinny tyres make all the difference, still very impressive i think.

2 things.... x5 could do it with those tyres (ive been ofroading in one... you'd be amazed!) and secondly, did no one else think it was being pulled up with the winch at the top???

nope, nowt, noways man, fair play on what happened on the pod, we'll see what happens, come the summer and dry roads, and I've practised alot more ;) always had a soft spot for audi's, but bimmers are in the blood :D

Im sure the times would be a second or two quicker in the dry....maybe i'd give Tin a hard time :D

11 sec M3....what you going to do Ted, chuck out the rear seats and all the heavy electrical gizmos :D
