Hi

Im looking to upgrade the M3's front brakes and a friend has offered me a set of Porsche front calipers.

Does anybody know how hard or easy it would be to retro fit them to the M.

Ive spoken to Godspeed and he is keen to make up a bracket, but wanted to test the water with you guys ie. if you know of anyone thats done it?

Thanks in advance.
Imran

Think you can get the brackets from Movit in germany, look on ebay.de sometimes theyre up for peanuts.

from what ive seen it is quie a common mod, but ive only noticed it done on E39's.
im sure there are 'how too's' somewhere around. failing that ask a few brake specialists

I have seen 993 Turbo Porsche brakes fitted on a e36 . It would be possible but you would need brackets or some machining !

actually im sure there was a company that sold the Porche brake kits for M3's !

i'll have a look through my years of old bm mags.
