Dodgykens Z4 - First Pics

Picked it up yesterday - in the rain [xx(][:(!]

Drove it home just loving the sound from the Bastuck exhaust. Getting mixed reviews from these things - some say good, some say bad.

Went for a spin this morning and just loving it - even with the hood up. Performance is a bit sluggish in gear - but after being used to a heavy blowing turbo that is no surprise. The handling is great and she just looks great.

Anyway - I will tell more once I have spent more time in the car, but in the meantime have a look at these

Aye looks nice. Bastuck is a good make, so no worries on the quality, and there's only 1 person who really matters when it comes to liking the sound of it or not... ;)

The Z4's are such a nice car 2 drive! I drove my cousins for a few days and i love it. it was the 3.0l.

Can some one explain what bastruck is????

Interior is black leather with brushed aluminium trim.

Bastuck is an after-market exhaust - mixed reviews - but it is a stainless steel job - sounds better than OEM.

Mine is also the 3.0, certainly enough power, although after being used to the Turbo in the Volvo its in gear acceleration is a little sluggish - but it is 100 times smoother.

Might go out again for a drive later. :cool:

There's a very simple procedure that is 100% reversible that you can do to hear more engine noise in the cabin. All 3.0 Z4s come with a sound generator tube that is blocked with a piece of foam that connects the engine bay directly to the interior cabin. By unclipping the foam piece, you REALLY hear the straight 6 whirring away. Very addictive. When you've had enouhg, just plug it back.
