I got an e-mail today from the MD at Eibach UK stating if I fitted a set of Pro-kit springs on my 320D Sport it will only drop a futher 11-15 mm, as compared to my Mtech springs the clearence from bumper to the ground is currently 140 mm.

I was hoping about 20mm drop. I know I could go for the Proline springs but I think that the ride will be a bit too hard. No luck with ACS springs either, they are no lower than what I have now.

Spoke to Roy (I think) at CA-automotive he seid that the rear should drop about a further 10 mm and the front 15 mm.

I got a price from branded untouchable (partner company of CA-automotive) for the springs and fitteing + ajustments all in for around £300. Would any one recommend these guys to the job?

Or some one else in the Nottingham, Leicester area?

The other option is to go for coilovers, so I can ajust the hight to what want but a nice price as well nearly £1000 fitted. ouuch, thats coming out of my M3 fund.

Go with the Pro-Kit. If you want a bit more front drop, get the Sportline (they are not that much stiffer). Your stock shocks will be able to handle both them.

Coilovers.....hmmmmmmm....been down that route. Excellent in terms of adjustability and chassis control, but you can get quite tired of them if you drive your car regularly. Even if you get those with adjustable damping, the spring rates are much harder than any aftermarket springs. Then the mantainence side, salt laden highways are not coilovers' playground. Once the thread and collar start corroding, they will jam tight. Then your back to square one, totally un-adjustable suspension.
