Hiya Roy,

Welcome mate, good to finally have you here in our little forum.

I just sorted your Sig out, as Fas said its because you had [IMG] and not [/IMG}.

[ok

On a Serious note, please feel free to advertise, trade, sell, and buy etc.

Only rule at the moment is not to step on "SSDD-Motorsport's" toe's, but you have a lot of different stuff, so this should not be a problem.

Welcome Roy. I have some cousins in Gosport. Horrible place isn't it ;) Just pulling your leg. Whereabouts in Italy? I've been to Milan, Venice and my favourite place - Rome. Moschino is so cheap over there :D

hi to all , and thanks for all the welcomes ! Would have replied sonner , but being the computer spas that I obviously am ( ..and I remap cars ..frightening ) i must have set something wrong 'cos i did not get any e mail notifications ...aaargh

anyway , here are some replies :

1. Nick , pizzas are on their weay , but please call me as we have to discuss spacing out your wheels .... Anyone with ACS type 4 's , oem M3 e46 wheels and other wheels with no outer dish , be warned you will need 15 to 20 mm spacing PER WHEEL to make Stoptech 355mm big brake kits fit .

2. Fas as ever thanks for sorting out my signature ..hope all is well , have you bought the X yet ?

3.Hi Durgesh , me and teddydo much business together so I would not tread on his territory , just let me know if I do guys .

4. NO ant Man , you were right first time ...Gosport is crap ( sorry to any of my neighbours ) ...we moved here temporarily cos the hose was so big and such good value at the time ...we came to view on sundays so did not get a good "feel " for the area ...ah well , Italy here I come .. we must have been seperated at birth Ant ..I had my honeymoon two years in Venice , year before visited Rome , before that Verona ..we were absolutely blown away each time ...people food , history etc ...so we decided to live there !

5 Hi Tin ...bonnet not in stock no , that will be made to oredr can incorporate vents etc if desired . Regarding the diff I will be backto you soon as ...

6 westside ...nice car !!

thanks again to you all , speak soon

PS did I mention our current project ? Customer has laid down large deposit for complete re vamp of his E24 M6 :
- metal M3 wide arches grafted on
- complete bare metal respray
- seam and gusset welded body
- carbon fibre spoliers , boot ( csl shape ) and bonnet
-600 bhp 4.6 V8 based on 540 engine , with Alpina heads , Vortech supercharger etc
- Brembo brakes
- coilover by Kormann
-roll cage
- 18" kerscher KRC wheels

- and so on ...like i keep saying , where do you lot get this kind of money ..NO DONT TELL ME I DONT WANT TO KNOW !

2. Fas as ever thanks for sorting out my signature ..hope all is well , have you bought the X yet ?

No X buddy, they're just TOO expensive for me.

Am keeping the vert until the summer, then either part it out or sell it complete. I've got my heart set on a Cayenne for now, whether it'll happen or not, is another question, but even without negotiation, it's cheaper than an X5. Who knows. I may just say to hell with it and by a Vectra :(

not just you, it's something that's happening to everyone.

Durgesh is upgrading the site to include a chat-room, and he's had some configuration issues. I'm putting it down to that, hopefully he'll be along later to clarify. I'm sure the feature will be back soon

Welcome Roy mate, you made it here finally :)

I am sure you will find a lot of people interested in engine/performance upgrades which currently I do not have the expertise/facility or knowledge to help them with [read

I think Peppernickm is our in-house technical expert, you might need to fight with him to take the throne :D

Hey Roy,

I was wondering if you had done anything the the S54 engine in an M Coupe before?

I find it difficult to find stuff like strutt braces (non tube ones) and air filters (although i know groupm do one :))

CA Automotive UK
25-02-2005, 06:49 PM
thank you all again for your kind hospitality !!

some replies :

1. yes , the M6 project is our biggest ( and scariest ) to date , a lot of money and a lot of work but will look awesome i think ....customer just agreed with our suggestion for full carbon GTR style bonnet , CSL style boot lid and carbon e46 door handles , BMW carbon black colour to rest of bodywork . Any opinions will be gratefully received ......

2. M54 into Z coupe , notoriously difficult to get parts for ..why I dont know ..there are enough customers around ! Gruppe M only induction worth its salt really on these . Our wiechers range has oval strut braces as well as round ....
carbon engine covers also available , cams , software etc

have had trouble getting posts thro on this forum , hope fully this one will show ...am going to try to post some pics of our stand at Ally Pally extereme wheels show last weekend next ..
regards

The blue E36 is our wide body 328 ...we chucked the lot at it ..exhaust , pulleys , cams ,water injection , BBTB , schrick mani , custom exst mani , Vortech supercharger , daztec etc etc ..... 315 bhp and 330 ..I say 330 ..yes thats 330 ft lbs torque :D ..about 50 more than S52 M3 ...and yes we have INDEPENDANT dyno chart as verification . [cool
as you can see from the second image of the owner customer satisfaction is everything ...:-)
