Hi guys, just to make a few things clear:

*Track time will start at about 11am/midday, to allow me and Roy to say hello to everyone and enjoy the start of the meet.
*There will be a charge for the track time, not sure exactly what this is gonna be, it varies greatly depending on various things but if you account for £100 or £150 MAX, but i would have thought it will be lower than this.
*There is only very limited numbers for this, only 9 cars in total for the day, THATS IT.

*The list so far of people that have shown interest is:

1- Roy
2- Shawn
3- Matt J
4- Paradyme540i
5- M3CSLboy
6- Cable guy

Can you please confirm asap EITHER WAY if you want track time or not. Once on the track we will be there all day.

If you want a high speed circuit that is great fun and not very demanding or you if you just wanna light them tyres up with some doughnuts this is the one for you!

Excellent. What I am not keen to see is the meet segregated into 2 parts.

will this have the full length of the straight? last time there were a whole bunch of cones in the way, which meant we couldn't run full on, without going diagonal towards the left!

Excellent. What I am not keen to see is the meet segregated into 2 parts.

We both understand that mate, we did however have this track time penciled in a while back.

As stated only 9 cars are allowed on the track and that is it, 9 cars will enter that track on the day, the cars cannot be changed, the names on the final list are the ONLY people/cars allowed onto the track itself, no more. Anyone not on the list who enters the track will be booted from the track/bruntingthorpe itself. No questions.

We only offered this this track time to be polite to the ET members as we thought it would be a bit 'off' if we were on the track and didn't invite anyone else on to the track itself, basically we are just trying to be polite by giving a select few a chance to go round the track.

Nick we DO NOT want this to interfere with the 'meet' in anyway. We hope everyone is clear on the 'rules' for the track so to speak.

Will not know until the day im affraid, but all the times i've been there the main straight has always been open.

That's cool  The few selected cars that are going on the track can leave and return to the meet area at anytime is a good idea.

I asked because some organisations will require cars that are going on the track to only park in a specific landing area, which inevitably will result in the meet breaking up in 2 parts.

How did I not see that [bang will it remain around the £100 mark even if 9 cars don't sign up?

Erm it's kinda ground to a halt, I need to find someone to make a rear pannel for where my rear seats use to be so it looks tidy, no luck in finding anyone though! I've snapped the clips on my kidney grills so i need new ones, and I'd kinda still like a Supercharger but I'm skint!!

Looking forward to hitting the track actualy, get my moneys worth from my mods!

Absolutely dude!! by the way the camera system should work a treat, im doing a few mods to the kit so we can swap it from car to car within a few mins.

The recorder will be on a ciggy lighter socket, the cameras on croc clips to the battery & the front and rear cameras screwed to old numberplates ive got kicking around. hopefully i'll have tested it over this weekend

I'm wondering too if its ok to be a passenger for a little while in someones car, mines faaaaaaaar too slow for me to go on the track but wouldn't mind feeling scared ****less for a while in someone elses :) Will be going to the meet anyway but would be nice to jump into someones car with them while theyre going for a spin...

Paradyme540i: Mate i've missed place your number! Can you PM it to me please mate! CA has not got a 'section' so to speak but im sure we could set up the monitor by another stand or somewhere where it will be safe, near teddy's stand if he is cool with it. Really looking forward to the cameras on the cars! Let me know how the 'trials' go! As said if it is good quality images i will probably buy a system!

As for passenger laps... I really dont know to be honest, will have to play it 'by ear' and see what happens on the day.

You have a pm Sean.

By the way, If anyone has engine or suspension mods they really wanna test out on the track i dont mind giving up my place on the track time, i know its limited numbers & my only reason for the tract time is, well, track time i guess! thats not to say im pulling out by any means but if someone else wants it more or needs the setting up time ive not got a problem giving up my slot.

I'll still do the cameras and stuff though so no worries there.

I think we are only gonna have 6 cars on the track mate, maybe 7, doubt we will get 9. Its a shame as its such a good opportunity to drive your BMW how its meant to be driven.

Will be a laugh for whoever does attend the track though, i for one will make it worth while! 'new tyres please'...

thanks guys

Officially we will have to close off here on numbers for track time.

Please note the following :
1. you MUST speak to myself or one of the mods BEFORE going onto the track , DO NOT just go on/off the track at will.
2. you MUSTstay in the evot meeting area at all times unless one of us is escorting you on or off the track. No spectating at side of track .
3. we will probably be keeping it down to 3 or 4 cars at any one time.
4. we will be offering passenger rides in a couple of our cars , with hopefully live video feed and recording facilities inside the supercharged M3 .

thanks in advance for your co operation guys :)

Just a quick coment for you guys on the track this weekend, make sure you fill up with petrol just before you get there on sunday morning, there is a couple of garages within a few miles of the track so make sure you fill up when you get close. Nothing worse than being on the track and you have to leave and go and fill up with petrol (which will take about 20/30 mins round trip).
