Hello again (this is getting a bit regular from me - but its just all SOOO new!!)
So - im looking at the EVO 2 style wheels
EVO 2 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7956484230)
Just wondering who has these wheels and how hard they are to keep clean?
How much difference are the once in the link from the originals? I asked the seller and he said:
"You would not be able to spot the difference. Also these are an Italian high quality replica so the finish is also equal"
They seam very good value. Especially since i reckon i cud get at least 200-300 for my current wheels...
Cheers

I know someone with the replica's and yeah, the replica's are 98% identical, you wouldn't be able to tell mate.
And I can't see them being any harder to clean than the MV spoke's - they're a bitch to clean!
Best to use wheelwax after cleaning every few months, makes the dirt come off much easier.

They are a right arse to clean! theres just too many little nooks and crannies! A Friend of mine has them and he usually gives his car to the local handwash purely for this reason.
They look wikid once clean though!

Isn't there a thin/narrow brush thing that u can use without getting your hands dirty? Looking at these Evos, it looks much-much easier to clean than my BBS multi-crossspokes!
BTW, u'd be better off buying these from Rochford Tyres as they will fit top brand tyres for the same price (my colleague bought from them and got Pirellis at no extra cost). Just ask what tyres they are going to fit. If u can get to Essex, save postage cost too:)

yea i just give my car to local handwash and make sure they clean em properly :D. Mine are replicas and as alot of people have seem mine in person they can vouch for them being so close to the originals that you cant tell the difference.

Lee - When I bought my car it came with Breyton Magic 19's on it. Nice wheels and looks, but to be honest the drive just didn't feel right with 19's, hence I sold them and got Schnitzer 3's in 18inch.
The car drives much much better now [ok

I didnt really notice any difference going from 18" evo2 to 19" type 3's. Its a little harsh sometimes thats all.

Who cares how hard they are to clean. Just coat them in wheel wax and a decent power hose should do most of the work for you come washin time. Also,if you wash them every week you wont have much to do!
They are a tasty wheel and I agree, replica are very close. Only differance is the OEM stamp around the hub and the wider rear track (8.5).
I'm in the market for them myself. :D
