i think its from a 2003-2005 yamaha r6, i will go look in my garage and double check

sorry they are from 2000-2003 yamaha r1, just noticed the amount of revs on the tacho, not high enough for a 600cc. deffinatly a yamaha R1. hope this helps, Paul

I was toying with fitting it into the M3 dash as a trick display, but may be too difficult to calibrate .
know any one who has done anything similar paul ?

a speedo healer. u use them when you change the gearing to recalibrate the speedo.
you can get tricker looking dashes than that one mate, try and find a 2004-2006 yamaha r1 dash, or if you wanna speend mega buck, try a AIM or translogic dash! i use a translogic on my track bikes. super trick!!!

no worries mate, i reckon that speedo healer would be the way to go, there are a few different types, so may be worth having a look about.
