Schnitzer mirrors fitted

Well popped round the painter (if that`s what you can call him) :mad:

Took out the mirrors (or atleast 1 mirror) and they looked perfect
I should of checked them both,but i was in a hurry to get home and fit as the rain stopped

So anyway started at drivers side and removed door trip as described in some topics on here.

I took note of what wires went where in the plug so when i came to rewire it would be prefect

Fitted it all up and checked it works (Up is down,Right is left etc) Bollox who cares that will do,Must be a wire round wrong way somewhere,but cant be asred checking again

went to do passanger side and it started pissing down
well i thought sod it i aint just doing one,so i got wet

Did the other side perfect,apart from the mirror shell looks like its been sprayed with a hoover
very ruff and orange peel,so going back down tomorrow to see if it just needs wet sanded and buffed up.
If not he can paint that one again

One thing tho is that i could only get motor to hold with one screw each side
Do you get longer screws from BMW?
Maybe pop up and check
The motor is tight enough,so should not fall off Lol
Never had this prob with e36,but then again i never bought them off ebay [read

I actually used to like the original mirrors on the 330, but they really do make alot of difference dont they :cool:

There is no better lookin mirrors than the A.C Schnitzer mirrors...

Real improvement. I have ACS mirrors also, and can confirm that with mine I too could only get one screw into hold the motor on one side. The other wasn't a problem though, so have just left them as is. Never had a problem so don't worry about it. :cool:

well drove it round the painter today and showed him the n/s mirror
Recons the laq sunk on them or something
so i wipped it off and said get it done by tomorrow,but make sure it`s right

So should get it back on again tomoz [cool

The interior is Beige

Mods-I still fancy other alloys and am contemplating getting 19` Schnitzer Type 111,but not sure yet
would love the rear lights also but cant justify all that money for lights
