Awesome ! [ok

Congrates in jointing the CCFL club. I bet you now any excuse you will have these on when you driving. I have noticed now as the days are getting longer that I can drive home from work just with these on, mind you, by the time I do get home I can hardly see anything, but that will soon pass. sorry for asking a silly question but won't the rings obstruct low beam light? I have HID installed and thinking about this mod for some time and wander if you have noticed any difference in road light???

No interference with low and high beam at all, xenon or halogen. The halos will not be bright enough to light up the road ahead. Their function is exactly that of your sidelights, but they will definitely get you noticed a lot more ;)

Good stuff dw uk [ok

Thanks for the reply Nick. So....when installing ccfl's, do people usually remove the sidelight wedge bulbs? I am assuming that having ccfl's instead of the wedge bulb will not cause the 'lamp out' warning lamp to show up right? if so I think this could be my next mod...

That way its still connected so you dont get no warning light.

You run the CCFL rings off the same power as the sidelights, and leave the sidelights on but inside the engine bay out of view.

Black grill looks good btw DW, was gonna leave mine chrome but you've given me something new to think about now. :)

Cheers for the comments guys.

Yep think as soon as I took ownership, I was on a slippery slope, just trying to get a nice balance.

Think I'm going to concentrate on the sounds next and maybe some 19's.

Chaos, with a black grill ours would look identical from the front  think it suits the silver nicely and matches the Club sport splitters.

looking good bro [cool if you do not want the sidelights hanging in the engine bay just buy some resistor and that'll sort it out.

Time for some upgrade bulbs for your headlights and fogs then
