I love sundays when the wife is away visiting her mother :D Anyway, just finished painting the kidney grills in orient blue to match my car. I was going to plaint it black but everyone else has them in black/carbon and I also saw a nice Jag X type sports with colour coded grills so I took the plunge. As per usual costing as follows:

- Halfords colour match spray 9.99
- 800 grade wet/dry sandpaper 35p
- grey primer spray 2.99
- clear lacquer 2.99
- masking tape 1.29
- half days work, garage has permanent smell of paint

Obviously, it's not a perfect match as the car is 6 years old so there are some fade in the bonnet but what the heck. Whilst I was painting, I also painted the airbag badge on my steering wheel in silver to match my handbrake sleeve/gearknob. Still not decided whether I should also paint the volume/cruise control hoiusing yet but got one done...

Next weekend, I will (hopefully) be kissing goodbye to my oem 16" and welcome these 17" split rims. I know it's not 19" or even 18", but it's much better than what I have now and I am still saving up so that I can buy a coupe some day (hence all my mods are cheap and tacky). Beside, I also need to have a good time in Dubai so modesty is the way forward for me...Anyway, got my flame suit on so bring it on guys [nana

Liking the Grille.....looks like a good job!

Never seen those rims on an e46, are they the splittys that come off the E36 328 sports?

I know these came from a e36 but i don't think it's from the 328i sports as they have less spokes than these ones (style 5, BBS Type RC). Looks nice but a pain to get them cleaned. i just need to get the fronts balanced this week and i'll be ready.

Afif, I'm not 100% with the projector lights and am looking for white corners and rears at the moment.

Or go for the black projectors up front like myself and Afif.
