I don't know whether your car has the same symptom but I've always had some creaking sound coming from door frames. I've tried various lubricant/spray but they didn't seem to have much effect. I knew some kind of friction was causing this issue so I then stuck some thickish black tape (mines 0.8mm) along the door metal frames where it touches the car. It didn't have much effect so I tried the same on the rubber seals on the car side. Nothing...So I removed the tape and stuck them onto the wooly door seals on each door. BINGO! The creaking noise has completely disappeared and I have less road noise coming in. The only downside is that these may eventially come off but I guess I can live with that. Why didn't I think of this earlier...
[hmm confused as to where exactly you put the tape. I cant think of any creaking noise i get.
Yeah i get noise from my windows but i guess im used to it, its a weather thing isnt it??

do u get creaking noise when u roll teh window down or 'crack' noise when the car goes over bumps? u can put some tape as shown in pics over the black wooly window surrounds:)
I get it only when im driving and when the window is up.. Not all the time but often enough.... might give it a go.

Anyone got a fix for the Vert? My windows rattle slightly all the time when all the windows are up, however if I lower the rear two the rattling stops. My friend says it will rattle cos it's a convertible, but to be honest when spending that kind of money on a car you don't really expect window creaking!
I've tried lubing the black bit on the rear window but no good! I will however say that it temporarily stops after it's had a wash!
this must be one of those thigns you dont notice until you know its there. Then it bugs the crap out of you because you KNOW what it is [crackmeup.
