Guys, I have been looking at the UCC M5 clutch upgrade kit, with the lightweight flywheel and short shift. Its coming in around £1100.

Had a quick look around the website but there are so many options not sure what you would suggest as a package like the above. Any options and feedback most welcome !

hi there

i take it you have seen our reply to your main thread about this ?
let me know if you prefer Sachs Zf ( works with oem flywheel ) or the UUC with LTW flywheel :)

For my money ,on a standard car with only mild mods I would go for the Sachs .

You also lose some engine braking WITH LTW FLYWHEEL

Regards shifters , nothing beats Rogue Engineering , and i suggest you opt for their uprated tranny mounts as well , total delivered cost to you = £350 :)

all the best

Thanks roy, I have seen the thread. I never had the LTFW in mind, but thought as the clutch is coming out it was worthwhile doing ??

As always cost is the majoy factor, i dont mind which one tbh, aslong as there is little or no judder on engagement then thats all good. I dont mind a heavier clutch pedal, but the last uprated clutch i had was a terrible engagement and juddered badly when stuck in traffic :( :(

no problem

my advise is still sachs clutch onto oem flywheel :)
