Hi
Anyone know what a 'Shark' is, as mentioned on the US forums? They also mention that it's possible to electroically un-limit the rev's so that the 330 will rev to 7k. Is that wise? [bang

Sorry mate, meant two different things.
1. What is - SHARK.

2. There's some sort of software that raises the rev limit to 7k, anyone heard of this?

it software upgrade for BMW USA cars only. it suppose to give more HP, revs etc....it actually called Jim Conforti Shark software. I was goin 2 get it but it only for USA only. Hope this help

Yup Silver is right,

the good thing about it is that you can plug in and update the ECU software, and then you can at anytime plug it in again, and revert back to the Stock software. It can only be used on one car at a time, as it moves the OEM stuff onto the unit while you are using the "good stuff".
