hello all just having a gander on autotrader and saws a car that was fairly cheap, the reason the add says is coz its on a V car

whats that about? [hmm

V car means recorded i think! basically can be stolen recovered hpi repossesion! or even cat c or d repair! im pretty sure thats what it means!!!

Stolen / Recovered & possibly written off aswell

I dont know what all the fuss is about a car that have been written off as long as the car has been repaired propley then you have nothing to worry about unless its a mayor write off you have nothing to worry about

only down side is when you are coming to sell it again!
People are 2 fussy these days, if a little ding has happend to a car no one wants to buy it!

There is a huge difference though between a little ding and been categorised by the insurance.

I would steer clear of categorised cars.

was finding more about this, cat c/d can be something minor for example if some one broke into your car and caused a bit of damage then there could be a chance of it getting written off
