hello newbie here e30bmw.
just have to get this off my chest.
i am also a member of two other sites i will mention them
e30 zone and meanstreetcruise.
meanstreets and this site have welcomed me and not slated my car.
yet e30 zone if some of you members just posted pictures of japfest on there
and zoners loving them.whats that all about.
it should be e30,s or genral bm,s and some slated my car.
no no no i,m not going to swear.
i must say tho some guys on there who i have met are good guys.
just get rid of non bmw stuff.

mate, you seem to feel quite strongly about this issue, have you contacted the administrators of the the forum directly?? maybe you should voice your opinions to them and see what they say..

i do feel strongly about it.
i,m 40 years old and can take a slateing.but some of the poor sods
who posted there modded e30,s on there get ripped to pieces.
the administrators should take photo,s off, unless its the admin taking them.
dont mind pictures of bms from shows and a few token other cars.
keep jap cars on jap sites and bm,s on bm, sites.
right or wrong.
maybe i,m wrong and just a moaning old git.please correct me

Not sure what your issue is to be honest.

I'm a member of e46fanatics which is obviously predominantly e46 shape BMW's, but a lot of older members have moved on to Porsches, 350z's, ferrari's, audi's etc but they still post up.

If I go to a multi-make car show, e.g. HIN, I'll post up cars of other makes with no issue.

EvoTechnik has always been about tastefully modded cars, regardless of make and I think the members appreciate the aesthetics of a well modified car.

I think there's bigger things in life to worry about than people posting up about "jap" cars on a predominantly BMW site. If you like the cars, great, if you don't, close the thread and move on or reply in a constructive manner if you feel the need.

wel enevitably there will be different types of cars on different enthusiasts forums, there is no real way to stop this, and quite frankly i actually like the idea of having different cars other than bmws to look at on this forum, it makes us different in that respect, to other forums (which shall remain nameless!!).

p.s as a matter of fact i joined this forum driving a 700cc smart car and can quite confidently say most forum members found the car pretty mad!!

And i agree there is nothing wrong with smart cars...

Having had my E30 325 Convertible written off by an icecream van while parked, i needed another car, and have now decided i will be keeping the smart for work use, until and after i get paid out and decide what car to start modifying next...

As for how other forums are run, if you don;t like it, don;t post, that is probably the easiest way to deal with it...

And while i'm posting away, welcome to the site...

if its a show fair game a mix of bm,s jap cars anything.
this is the last thing i,m going to say on this you know my feelings on it.
