Any ideas on decent 1/4 mile times for the M3's ??

You should be very happy with anything under 14 seconds (add 0.2sec for a vert)...

Anything around 14 was the aim. Need to shed some excess poundage from the fat girl first though ! :D :D

Can I assume SMG makes for an easier launch or not ??

Mods are: 100 cell cats, Custom GruppeM intake, and Rogue pulleys.

I think the SMG is more difficult to launch properly at the strip. Launch control just spun up, so I only tried it once. I reckon I must have been in burnout mode.

With SMG, you need to gently apply the throttle to just keep the tyres biting. As soon as they spin, it gets very tricky. With a manual, you can balance the clutch against the revs to get better traction.

Sub 14's could be on the cards then. Got 275 rears so plenty of bite, with afew subtle performance mods now.

Just need to ditch some weight from the heavy 'vert
