E92 Pricing

So I went into my local BMW dealer today (big mistake) and he gave me the dealer press pack for the new E92. Car starts to look very attractive in the brochure despite the Bangleness...No details of the Sport yet though.

At launch on 23rd September there will be

325i SE Coupe --- £28,090 --- 218BHP --- 250Nm Torque --- 0-62MPH: 6.7 --- 33.6MPG
335i SE Coupe --- £33,420 --- 306BHP --- 400Nm Torque --- 0-62MPH: 5.3 --- 29.7MPG

The 335i is mighty impressive, thats almost M3 pace for current 330 money. 330i will be launched later and have 273BHP. 330D production will start at this point also with 231BHP and 500Nm of torque! 320 and 320D to be announced later.

Not too bad pricing ! i know the TT 335 has tuning potential but Turbo charged cars lack that instantaneuos response of the NA engine, all though modern turrbos are pretty quick !!!!

As long as theres Supercharching thats the way forward with a BMW !!!!

Tell you what engine really is impresing me from the new line up the 3 litre petrol , 273 BHP !!!

thats about 10bhp less than what the E36 3 litre produced, and all that power in a comfortable family cruiser, BMW are pushing ahead with their engine Technology.

Shame their new cars are FUGLY !!!!!!

The way I look at it Raj, is that they only look good when Pshopped... ;)

And if do see one on the road from a distance that looks nice-ish, Ima ram my steering wheel to the left whilst putting my foot through the floor, no way Ima see it then...

But none of those are based on or even look like the real car? Just early photoshops...
