I can't help but be impressed with these Jehnert doorbuilds, built specifically for the E46 (they also do them for other cars). The quality is just nothing short of amazing and the finished product can be passed as a factory option [cool
Fas modified his front sound stage yesterday night. And I was present together with Chaos Dan to witness the entire carnage :D
First of all, NEVER let Andy work on an empty stomach, or he'll MULLER your doorcards  :D
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/peppernick/ICE155.jpg
Feed him chicken chow mein and he'll ditch his cutters in favour of his ambidextrous fingers. Theoretically, should cause less MULLERING and add a bit more finesse.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/peppernick/ICE156.jpg
But TBH, you can't help but gawk at the perfect fit of these Jehnert doorbuilds on the doorcard.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/peppernick/ICE157.jpg
You can mount twin 6.5" midwoofers and a 4" midrange.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/peppernick/ICE158.jpg
How good is this! [cool Even the lining of the Jehnerts are chosen carefully so that it matches the dash/doorcard lining exactly.

We had one happy big bunny [hiya
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/peppernick/ICE154.jpg
Caress them a bit and the speakers sing like a lark on a bright sunny morning
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/peppernick/ICE163.jpg
....in the words of Russell Peters .... this is DISGUSTING!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/peppernick/ICE164.jpg
As you can see, the Jehnerts are truely something to lust for ;)

LMAO :D Thanks for posting these Nick I think I was tired when those pics were taken! (honest!)
As for the door builds, they truly are amazing quality and well worth the money. The sounds quality is vastly improved over the HK's but not perfect. As they are new speakers, they have to be bedded in so they're ramped up to 25% power, so at the moment my audio is bass heavy, but DAMN people look when i drive slowly past, so it's all gravy.
My boot is 99% complete, just some tidying to do then I'll do some proper pics with Nick's help.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Andy is a true soldier. My whole setup is based around his recommendations and he hasn't let me down. Once I've got the whole pic spread up I'll talk through the entire setup.

HEY PLUTO!!

Seriously, those cards are mental, the finish on them is like 99.99% OEM and they just run straight in with the fabric on the doors. Worth every last penny. And hell, I got to play with them AND launch the first internet pictures of Faisal Mouse, what a night. :D
Once these two clowns have finished playing with ICE, I'mma show you how it's done though, I've already got my Alba cassette player delievered and I'm just waiting for the 2 Matsui 4" subs to arrive before I make a start. ;)

Dude I can't stretch to that while I'm into this big shiznit gear, so that's pencilled in for later in the year. Bummer too, just saw a really low priced one on Ebay, woulda been the macdaddy of installs. Anyway I'm off out to the garage to see if I can pick up a cheap roll of electrical-insulating-wotsit-thingy tape. ;)
