Just secured Hamann Add-on. Getting annoyed, too many people getting clubsport splitters so thought I would get a change. Should be a nice agressive front to complement the agressive'ish rear I have with the spoiler, painted valance and the 2x76mm tailpipes
Will flow nicely with the M3 skirts too.
As I said, evotecnik exlusive. Keep it under your hats and then I'll "unleash the demi-beast"

The pic you posted looks pretty dropped at the front. Hopefully you wont have any problems with scraping.

Great choice bro!
Gone were the days when splitters were exclusive to Clubsports :( ......but CS splitters kicked started a lot of enthusiasm in the local modding scene.

Absolutely agree Nick. I think the splitters still look awesome, one of the best add-ons, and especially body coloured. If it was just the "modders" doing the splitters, then I would still be rocking them, but the "take their cars to a dealer to change a bulb" brigade are beginning to put them on as well which kinda loses their appeal to me.
It's a personal choice. I don't want to spend ££££'s on a mod only to have Joe Bloggs make an identical choice. I thought it was cool that the EvoTechnik crew had the splitters done, as it looked awesome all lined up, but maybe they've had their day, I dunno. Ah well. BRING ON THE HAMANN

that's the arqray front.
Agreed, it looks awesome, but standard fitment is terrible, that's why most of the people with it have custom moulded it into the bumper. We don't have that level of workmanship, and if we DID, it'd cost an absolute fortune.
But agree, that is one of the nicer add-ons too
re that above pic... i love what hes/shes done to the lights.. Anyone know anything about that set up ??? is it plastics, paint ??

Those are called Eyebrows. Strips of plastic painted in body colour and just glued down onto the lens. Been there, done that, eyebrows are officially played out

My hardtop is on for the winter now, love it.
Hoepfully the boys will help me take it off tomorrow for a few minutes as I left the wind deflector in by mistake. Durrr

My car has gone through a ton of transformations :) yeah, started with sport kit, now on my 4th set of rims (Stock 17's, clubsport 18's, hamann hm2's (as in sig) and now ACS Type 3!), it's been decked, clubsport splitters are now being changed for Hamann add-on, ACS spoiler, second set of angel eyes, indicator change, exhaust, intake and that's all I can think of for now :D
So what's news with you

How do you store the hard top when not in use???
I have a hardtop stand and cover, stores the hardtop vertically when not required :) Actually works pretty well
ah stores vertical of course.. sorry i was thinking "hell something like that would be a rather large pain to have lying around"

Quality ! Ive seen the pics on this site -- looks SO different to when I saw it as stock.
Mate, I had to sell the beemer to buy a house. Done all that now, and had a brief spout of MR2 Turbo ownership, but decided it was time to come back to the brand. So bought myself a 330 Sport Coupe. Couldn't be a*sed this time to go down the getting the Sport kit fitted route. Was WAY too much hassle. But now having seen your and Peppernick's cars, Im not sure Im gonna be able to help myself !! I can feel some aftermarket alloys coming ........ :D
You guys get together often then ? Let me know next time you're doing a meet and I'll pop down too.

Not me. I havent been to one of the EvoTechnik meets yet, although had one with some of the e36coupe guys few months back.
I quite like the ones you've got - ACS Type II's arent they ? But they're bl**dy expensive !
One thing which I should NOT have done is read up on all the posts about Durgesh's car ! I really want a supercharger now. But if only the warranty wasn't void because of it (and cost of an ACS one is way too much). Maybe in a few years when the warranty isnt as important to me....
