I need to paint some wheels/body bits over the w/e and I need to get some primer. There are 2 primer types that I can buy: filler primer and normal primer.
Anyone know what's the difference bewteen the two? Both say they are ok to use on any surface etc...confused [hmm

Are these completely new panels being replaced? or ones that have been panel beated (properly) and smoothed out to give a nice surface touch, ready for painting?
Wheel primer, I'm fairly sure is different stuff...
Do you have an airbrush/air gun  ?

I bought some super-polished alloys (refurbed, diamond cut so looks like a mirror) but the centre caps are still painted silver (that's how oem one were). As a result the colour does not match between cap and wheel. So I need to paint either the centre cap to chrome, or paint inner parts of the alloy silver so that i leave the lips polished up as it, but matching the cap and inner parts of the wheel silver (not decided what to do). I also need to paint some eye brows and rear boot lip for my colleague. And no, we're not using any gun. Are primers different for wheel/body?
