Alright everyone, ive just bought a 330ci sport and im already hunting for some rims that take my fancy....There some different designs ive looked at but i cant decide.
In my opinion the rims that you put on your motor either 'Make' or 'Break' the whole look of the car.
Has anyone got some pics of E46 coupes on 19's so i can get an idea of what suits the car. Thanks ;)
dude just find a rim you like and id be pretty certain it comes in 19 :p. If youve found your way here you must have some rims in your head already ;).

I think it needs to be a split rim design......I like the look of the Iforged seneka but im strugglin to find a dealer in the uk that sells them.
How wide can i go rears without havin to roll the arches?

Hey Ben, if you find a design you like, whack a picture of it on here and a pic of your car. I'm sure someone will gladly photoshop it for you so you can get an idea of the end result.

Ben,
If you get 19" you are going to have to get teh arches rolled, espically if you have a drop of any kind.
You might be able to get away with a 8.5J on the rear 19" however have the offset "big" so that it stays well inside the arch.
iForged have no proper UK agents, order direct from the states!

Here you go. These are the 19" Iforged Senekas talked about at the moment, they're a 3 piece split rim, the rears on this set are 10" wide tho. Do a search on my name for closeups

SenekasBlue : did you have to do much mods to fit those 10x19's on the rear? Also what size tyre were you running?
I am in the process of chosing some 19s for my 330ci at the moment and was under the impression that 9x19 is the largest we can get under the rears?
Thanks

Really depending on offset. The E46 has very deep wheel wells so you can go wide. However, with an offset of 35mm, you'll be hard push to squeeze 19X9.0 in. The weather stripping inside the rear arch is 2cm thick. If you get rid of that with rolling, you can accomodate much wider tyres up to 265/30. Again offset is VERY important.

Lee330sport - where are these for sale, details would be appreciated. I wasn't really after a set of Schnitzers but might consider them as an interim solution.

Nick so with an 8.5x19 should a 265/30 tyre be ok on the rear without arch rolling?
If not will simply rolling the rear arches cure any rubbing?

I have 265/30 rears with -50mm suspension and no rubbing. It all depends on the offset.
Pm'd you about the wheels

These are mine, they are 19x8J et42 front 235/35/19 tyres and 19x9J et40 rear 265/30/19 , currently lowered on Eibach kit with no rubbing issues at all, even fully loaded in the rear. If you get the correct offset you do not need to roll your arches.
