I just went pain-balling with my work and had to drive thru some farm/jippoville. my car was covered in mud so I decided to give it a quick wash. Then I noticed that my n/s/f brake was super-hot, much more than others. I'm not hearing any noise from the brake so I don't think the caliper is sticking that much but what do you guys think? a colleague also have the same problem with his S2000. fyi, the brakes were changed about 5 months ago so not sure what the problem is... sticking you think?

Could be binding. See if you can jack up that wheel and spin it freely. Not much else it could be tbh.

Sounds like the brake caliper is seized.

yep sounds like its seizing, get it sorted asap otherwise it will bite and not let go.....then you will have to get towed home! I know cos it happened in my old e36.
These calipers can be reconditioned, I was charged about £70 to get each caliper done from an indy.

May not be the brakes - could be a wheel bearing - Any strange noises ?

I had the same problem just replaced mine with recons. cost me £69ea all sorted now, do you have any vibration?
Mine started after i replaced the pads, what happens is when you push the pistion back in any dirt/corrosion around the pistion makes it stick so ive been told

the only symptom I can tell are...
1 - very slight alignment pull to the left (haven't done tracking in a long while tho)
2 - slight steering wheel wobble/vibration during mid-speed cruising (30-50mph)
3 - no vibration under braking (so I doubt discs are warped)
4 - no wheel bearing noise
For 3 - I read that it can also be my control arm bushes
Mark, have you got access to a ramp? may not be related to the original problem, but would like to see the state of the bushes.
