View Full Version : Yes! Shifted the f***** Lexus at last!

Probably not that interesting to anyone else, but too pleased to keep it to myself!

After 3 months of Autotrader, Top Marques and two eBay auctions (and the appropriate amount of daily phonecalls from canvassers) I finally decided to take my Lexus to the local independent car dealer for him to try and sell it on my behalf, on a commission basis.

Luckily enough for me he sold his own personal 330 Touring on Saturday, and liked the look of my car so much he wants it for himself so wrote me a cheque on the spot :D :D :D

Widescreen nav here I come :)

Did u take the TRD stuff off?

Didn't try and remove the rear light covers as I was afraid of knackering the plastic, but whipped out the grille and popped the old one in again.

It is indeed a great weight off my shoulders - especially as our house move is hopefully imminent along, with accordingly huge expenditure :rolleyes:

Nice one Dan. That is a huge relief after 3 months. At least you didn't have to wait to sell the Lexus before buying the 7... :cool:

Yes indeed - so glad I have had three months of BMW fun :D

Forgot how little power the six pot Lex had on the drive in yesterday - used to breezing past anything on the motorway with the 740 - scary when you run out of horses overtaking an artic - whoops :o
