Does anyone know if you can fit an LSD to a 2001330ci cab which comes with DSC as standard? Also, anyone know the rough cost and benefits appart from the obvious (doughnuts!)

I'm really interested in fitting an LSD on my 330, problem is

#1 - finding the part
#2 - finding someone who can fit it!

I have found several suppliers in the US but it is really expensive if you order the full differential...

I'd be really interested in doing this!

I've exchanged a few emails with some companies a while ago, the kaaz LSD cost approx $1,100USD but you have to fit it into your existing differential.

www.bimmerworld.com also offer custom made differentials, it is the complete item but I believe it costs around $3,200.

www.hiop-racetec.com is the cheapest one and should cost approx €700, but it is not the complete item.

Seems like the hiop item is the bargain here, but I'm not sure if the quality is comparable to the other ones. Also I don't know anyone who could fit it. If I knew a trustful shop which has experience on working on transmissions I would be willing to do the jump and order the hiop item.
