Ok the ASC + handbrake + abs light is lighting up in the car  . Quick check in the handbook tells me the system has failed and to take it to a dealer [thumbsdow . After about 20 minutes of being stressed the light majically turned off  . It keeps coming on again though after its been parked in the driveway for a lil while (10-15minutes). Ive never had a problem with it in the driveway before so have no idea whats causing it!

Any ideas guys? or is this going to cost me dealer rates [thumbsdow ?

ok since noone has any ideas the plot thickens :p. After driving to a few peoples houses this evening ive come to the conclusion it only seems to happen when the car is parked on an incline where the rear of the car is on the lower end [hmm. I wonder if the springs are broke or summin :o. Hopefully kav will notice summin on sunday *fingers crossed*

Sorry to drag up such an old thread but still getting this problem :( Although its alot less frequent its annoying when it does happen. Have to drive so carefully because of the lack of abs/traction control :(.

Hey Afif - I have BMW Tool - you can hook up and check out the codes....

I had an engine fault light come on and the car drove fine, so when BMW wanted £145 (+ 2 week wait) just to hook it up to the system and read the code - I told em where to go and bought the tool while out in US.

Let me if the prob re-occurs.

;)
