Hi guys,

Which strut for my car is the question?

Unfortunatly ACS dont make a strut for my car, someone please tell me otherwise, so i am left with only a few options.

The one i hear good things about is Strong Strut, they make 2 type: (Both about $420 delivered)
The Alloy light weight

And the Steel Strong Strut

The other option i have is a Dinan, but i dont know where to buy them from

Hamann does a strut for the M roadster, im not to sure if there is a diff between the soft top and the coupe but its a thought for you.

youve probably already tried but www.dinanbmw.com. Got enough authorised dealers in the list but all in the US!

It seems they do, thanks for that. However it is made from tubing, and not forged like the others.

DINAN dude. Class

Birds is the UK Dinan agent. They can get one for you.

I have the Dinan ones on my car, very nice!

You can try getting them from www.pacificbmw.com (as alot of BMW dealers over there are authorised Dinan dealers too).. [ok

DINAN would be my first choice...

Alternative you can try CA-Automotive (Roy) they do some carbon fibres ones, they can get you brand names or their own look okay as well....

Interesting debate to be had here.

I hear that hinged struts like Dinen's are not as good as fixed like Strong Struts.

What do you guys think?

Spoke to Birds and they said the strut would not fit my car due to my S54 engine and it's air intake. :(
