I get to Tax and stick my M3 back on the road tomorrow.
It's a long story but in a nutshell last year some scum stole the front end off my m3, bunper, grille lenses the whole lot dissappeared.
As a result I took it off the road over winter.
Here it is before said incident

I got a new bumper etc off ebay and decided to change the side skirts to proper M3 ones too
A little priming and painting later they were on with some new smoked front indicaters and the Evo lip spoiler.
Now I have this

Hi ali, welcome to the forum. Glad you also made it :)

E36 'loon looks great in M3 form.

- What colour is it? Montreal blue?
- Are you still having the headlight condensation prob? (second photo) - if so, solution here: http://forum.bmwcarmagazine.com/topic2.asp?TOPIC_ID=40566

It's a saloon thing...

...not sure if it wasn't offered or whether it was option.

Saloons also iirc generally don't have 'vader' seats.

Thanks for the welcome Guys. The car is Techno Voilet but it was really dull on the day I took the pics si it appears more blue.
Re the condensation problem George it is fixed, I just took it for a run with the lights on. They had just clouded up as the car has sat over winter.
I did think about welding the nuts on the bumper but the end of the welder can't quite reach down the hole and it might melt the plastic surround. I've filled the holes with a roofing putty which sets solid and is a complete bas***d to remove. Hope that keeps it in check!
As far as I know it was just the facelift saloons that got fitted with the M contour sills. The first M3 saloons even came with standard mirrors.
I do unfortunately have the wood dash trim which is pretty nasty. The bit on the glovebox reminds me of being in a metro vandem plas!
