Hi all,
I have a 323ci 1999 e46 and i'm running on 19 inch hm2's with a stagered set up i have had the rear arches rolled and i am desperate to lower but i dont want to have any rubbing with ppl in back or when driving the back roads of scotland (some pretty steep ups and downs out there its like a roller coaster).
Could someone tell me what the best supsension kit is for me and how low 2 go without ripping my front off at every car park, speed bump, and steep hill i
come to?
P.s. anyone know any good bmw specialist in scotland? the bmw garages suck! i'm telling you anytime a mention mod to any of them they act like im talking another language
Thanks
Cris

When you say stagger I would take it that you staggered the rear tyres at 255/35 to the 225/40 fronts. The HM2 19" for the standard E46 fitment I believe is 8.5" wide. Hamann wheels have very forgiving offsets so I really doubt the rears would rub. Eibach Pro-Kit would be my choice.

Wow, you went for the hardcore rear  They are available but unless you specially request them, you usually end up with the 8.5s all round. Now the fat rears might pose a problem with the drop. It will be impossible to tell you unless someone has done it before using the same equipment. It will also depend on your rear camber, spring rates and tyre wall profile. AFAIK, the AVS Sport has very square side walls that are not very arch friendly.
If you take a pic of your present tyre/arch clearance (close up), might give us a better idea how much room you've got to play with.
Eibach springs available from Teddy (SSDD Motorsport) and I'm sure he'll be more than willing to post them to you.

Just wanted to add my welcome invisible. sounds like you have an awesome set up going on.
Just a thought, and hopefully the others will chip in here.
From what I understand you're currently not getting any rubbing at all on the rears. Why not just lower the front on Eibachs and keep the rears stock. I have no idea if this is detrimental to handling or everyday driveability, I'm just throwing it out there as an idea.
Alternatively, I've heard some people using "bump stops". Something which sits in the coil itself and just provides a hard stop, not allowing the spring to compress any more. this can be set by yourself to ensure that you a) get a nice eibach drop and b) not get any rubbing but the detriment is that some of the more harsher bumps will be felt a lot more!
ok this is going to be no help but i had no idea that 265 with 19's with 10j was possible let alone drop the car aswell! (whats the offset on those rims?)
Neways welcome to the forum mate :D.
