As some of you know, I recently just came back from my trip to ASA in Germany, I was there getting my Supercharger kit reinstalled.
Got there for Monday morning, ASA spent the whole of Monday, just unistalling the kit. Tuesday was reinstalling the kit, and wednesday spent tuning it.
I have to say a Big Thank you to all at ASA, you guys are some of the nicest guys around and the best in the business.
Not going into every little detail but; many parts were damaged because of incorrect install and had to be replaced. A piece of advice, anyone looking to do this type of performance mod, go to someone that is fully trained for the install. This will save you a lot of time and money. I can highly recommend ASA as a garage/workshop and product. These guys seriously know what they are doing, and they work is the best I have seen.
This is the Kit being taken out.

Here we are changing the internal clutch so that boost comes in at 1,200rpm and not 1,400rpm.

ASA makes the superchargers in the new B7!!! for those that don't know....
With that in mind and also the fact that Alpina is only an 1hr away from ASA, we decided to pay a little visit.

Test Drive in the new B7
270kph in the Rain! We did hit 300kph, I have video.....

Believe this or not, but this is where every Alpina in the world is made, one man makes one car at a time.

All in all it was a great trip...
So we also dyno'd my car today, and I am happy to say its pushing around 320bhp, however this is on a dyno with very little air over the intercooler, having driven it all the way back from ASA, and all day today, I can say we can probably add other 10% to that.
Evotechnik SC330ci Vs Evotechnik M3, test to come soon......
Here's today's dyno...

Red = BHP
Green = Torque
Dotted Line = My car stock
Line = My car with ASA SC.
All in all I can say this Kit is just simply amazing, ASA also offer an entry level kit that will produce 300bhp on a 3.0L engine; its called SK Plus. I drove a Z4 with this installed, and it fast, bang for buck there is not much else out there that will beat this product.
