I looking to buy 3series Alpinas. Was told by Sytner Chigwell that I can only service the Alpinas by Sytner Dealership only. Is this true?..

You sure?? Because I spoke to parklanebmw. They say is more to do wit warrenty issues, and that Sytner is the only dealer that actually import and take care of the aftersales of the alpina, therefore if anyting goes wrong it has go though Sytner.

Sytner Chigwell and Romford service department is crap compare to parklane. They just dont want to knw....wen u have a minor prb wit ur car :(

Looking to buy new 1...if i can sort the servicing bit out...

Have you tried Sytner in Gerrards Cross?

I would give BMW HQ in Bracknell a call before buying - but common sense would say that other dealerships (not all) 'should' be able to service them also - not just the Sytner Group.

I'd defo be interested in your findings - keep us posted!

Wheres that Gerrards Cross is that near the M4??..Just done bit more research and doesnt look good...all alpinas even 2nd 1s are sold at sytner..which doesnt look good.

Gerrards Cross - is nearer the M40 - Between Denham and Beaconsfield.... that neck of the woods - M25 Junc 16.

Friend of mine has just has his Alpina repaired under warrenty by a bmw dealer after running problems, i dont see any problems. It also has a full BMW history.
