:D This was my ride until a few months ago when my little girl `forced` my change....... :(
As pointed out the z4um club is one of the best forums around.........
I really miss her sooooooooo........
Be warned.....you`ll be buying new tyres every 10000 miles especially the rears ;)

I had a Z4 before I bought my M3 and I don't know if its just me but although I love the drive and handling of the car, the build quality was shite. It feels very tinny, like when you shut the doors etc and everything is plastic, I suppose you can get to live with it, but mine lasted 3 months from the time I took delivery before I sold it back to the dealer and got my M3!
Best thing is to go test drive and experience it yourself.
Its a great car ;)
Definately go for the 3.0. Its a pretty simple car, and touch wood, mine hasn't been back to the $tealers for any problems.
I think the car looks best in either Silver or Black.
If you can afford the extra then go for the Alpina Roadster S, which has recently had a price drop.

Ali's car is awesome with the BBS's, its very fast too. Hard catching up with him a few times on the Autobahn :)

Don't think I can stretch to the 3.0 litre but as Peppernick said I need to test drive a few. I've also been looking at Boxsters ........again :) . I could go the cheap route and just get a fun 2 seater soft top or go the whole hog....
..Ali your car looks amazing

go for a red one its diffrent and looks really good
You can pick up early 3.0's for the £20k mark at the moment...
Early boxsters are less but try to avoid the pre-facelift models... (and definately the 2.5 engine!).
