Will wheels from an E34 fit onto an E46, or are the hubs and pcd's different?
Cheers

From memory, the E34 had a standard offset of ET17 for the 15s and the optional 16s were something like an ET11 or 13 (think it was 13, but the number 11 sticks in my mind for some reason). So, in answer to the question, they won't just bolt straight on as the offset is a fair chunk different. I'm not sure, but the centre hub could be a different size aswell. Always risky swapping wheels across platforms (3-to-5 series, 5-to-3 series etc) - you after a set of winter rims or something?

offset is completely different, the 5,6,7,8 series fitment has a low offset so will stick out way too far on a 3 series.

Damn, was a long shot. Mates got some nice wheels on his E34 that he's selling. Would have been handy as I will probably need new tyres for the mot, and don't get paid for another 2 weeks. Ah well. Thanks for the advice.
