View Full Version : LEDs fitted ..... Cheers Peppernick !

Received my LED rear lights from Peppernick today, including the rear fogs. It's amazing how much difference they make to the rear of the car -- so much more up to date. Well pleased.

Was going to wait until tomorrow, but just couldn't wait so armed with my trusty torch put them in [:D]

2 questions:

1) Is there only one fog on the E46 on the right hand side -- have to admit, never seen them on on my car before so hence confused ?

2) As others have said, pressing the brake lights up the fog light. I assume this is normal till the LCM is Recoded. But is it ok to drive the car like this ?

Well I havnt been stop yet...by da police....drove past dem couple times...i tink it looks cool...in my view hehehe...to lazy to get my car in to da dealers.

Peppernick, can you get any for the E39/M5's? Would be nice to talk to a manufacturer possibly....

whizzkid, nick bought it for his clubsport from ebay or dealer, but now his new M3 already has the LED, so he sold it to fasial.

They look quality! I was thinkin of doin this in the near future.....Where did u buy the lights from and were they a direct replacement?

Bought from a member of this board, but you can get them from Hyper Turismo. BMW want about £340 for them - im sure HTR is cheaper.

They are a direct replacement in terms of fitment, but your LCM needs to be recoded else you get a "bulb blown" warning.
