Hey guys my xenons are pointing 2 the floor for the second time but first time i had this prob it was the control arm that came loose and it was sorted straight away.. now i have same prob but for diff reason only the dealer cant find that reason [hmm they looked at it few weeks ago and told me it was cause i had a nail in 1 of my rear tyres got that sorted but still same prob so cant be auto levelers... any ideas guys?

mate if your car is still cover by the warranty get the dealer to get you a new unit, all modern BMW lights have auto leveling function (moves up and down when you start the car). Do the headlights still move up and down then you turn the ignition?

HI Invis
there is a similar level control device fitted to the rear axle , same side , worth checking that one too
good luck

ask them to take a test drive in the dark shouldn't be too hard to spot the problem as it gets dark now after 3:30 nowadays. If all fails demand a complete new headlights replacement mate
oh don't forget to ask for a loan car :D
good luck
your dealers still suck then i see :p. Good luck with it neways bro.

maybe your dads 7 has daynamic xenon which doesn't just self level , but also turn the lights while taking a bend to light the bend :)

Should be able to park it a couple of yards in front of a wall at the dealer and see whether the lights are pointing down or not Cris. I had this happen to mine last September when the dealer screwed them up doing an Insp1 and had to drive round for a week like it before they could get me back in to fix it. I know how you feel driving around, it's not funny when you can't see squat in front of you and you end up praying for a car to come up behind you so you can use their lights instead.. Good luck sorting it buddy.
