Hi mate
I have used 4 different types of tyre on various BMWs i have owned
Goodyear F1s.. Very good tyre, exellent grip in all conditions shit wear rate scrubbed 2 rears off in 4.5k for that reason i wouldn't buy again 6/10 (Not for me)
Conti sport 2s These were good all round tyres alot harder compound than the F1s hence the grip wasn't as good but still very acceptable great wear rate 7.5/10 (would recommend)
Dunlop SP9000s Exellent all round tyre, grip very well in dry and rain little road noise great wear rate very good 8/10 (would recommend)
Michelin Pilots 1and 2 I dont need to tell you about these tyres as you have already used them i have had both and would definately use both again 9/10
hope this helps

hmmm so it looks like the mich's are overall the better tyre!
any idea what they look like on bbs ch's??
If you want some tail out action, go for a set of Bridgestone SO2's...
They're all over the shop... and thats in the dry!

Only problem with the PS1s and PS2s is the price...imo they are worth it but if they dont suit your budget Dunlops are the next best thing dont know what they look like on CHs i have the Dunlops on the HREs and they look great

maybe if you find a shop with a part worn set. They wont on new tyres because they cant be sold as new then.
