try to put the exhaust on today on my 318ci
but my rear diffuser is actually different from the other like the 325 -330.
a twin 76mm exhaust does not fit unless i trim it to give more room.
i didn't thought of that when i bought the diffuser a few months ago.
just thought it only had 1 type of diffuser for the mtec rear.
do you guys think i should just trim it down or get another one?
£80 just for the diffuser.
i was wondering if bigfas's had the same problem when he fitted his eisenmann.
also the exhaust doesn't fit either. :(
i was very curious before i bought the exhaust becos from what i see from the picture the joint were different from the oem exhaust.
so i asked roy from ca-automotive to confirm fitment and he said it'll fit my car before i buy it.
i'll have to phone him up tomorrow to sort it out.

Trim it :)

The diffuser we have is for the 4-pots hence the opening is only suited for a single pipe. i actually had the ACS tailpipe installed initially and my dealer chopped away (very cleanly) a larger opening.

Take a close look at your diffuser, you will see a faint line where the twin tailpipe exit goes, cut along that, shouldn't take too long, just do it nice and cleanly.

I subsequently had mine painted too which tidied it all up even more :)
