Well, i got a bit annoyed wih my yellow headlights, so i decided to go and buy some Philips Blue Vision (HB3 and HB4) 30%+ bulbs. (Teddy, i was looking at your ones but everyone on the MCoupe site said to get these as they were the only ones that fitted)
Stupidly in the BMW manual it says H7 and not HB4 so when i got my first delivery from Powerbulbs the low beams did not fit. Credit to powerbulbs they gave me a full refund and had new ones with me next day. They even gave me a free set of matching side lights as well, i have just go to read the manual to see how to remove the side light fitting.
Now i dont know who designed the inside of the BMW engine bay, but they are bloody stupid. I had to remove the entire Air fiter casing in order to get to the offside headlights, and even then it was a Bitch to get at.
So i finally got them all installed and they are certainly brighter, they seem to warmup and get brighter as you leave them on, also they are bright white and not blue at all, so i am well pleased. It makes the front of the car look much sharper and more threatening. :)
I will take some pictures when it gets dark, i will leave the sidelights on so you can see the difference as they are still yellow.

Look forward to pics of the lights and what difference they make, Teddys CCFLs are so white/blue they make the standard headlight bulbs look so yellow (ever noticed when in a queue of traffic with the lights on you find yourself pulling up really close to the car in front to catch a glimpse? - or is that just me?).
Decided on exhaust over navigation then?

As fas said, there is no point in resisting, i will end up getting both anyway.
The problem is, saving up for the Navi mean no other smaller mods, like short shift etc etc, and i really want them as well.
Ahhhh, i just need to sell some more of my stuff!!!! (Maybe my Flat!!!)
I also figured that if i had a better sounding exhaust i would not mind getting lost as much, i would just listen to the exhaust all the time . ;)

Sorry for the really bad picture, but i think you get the idea of the change in colour. My old headlights used to be the same colour as my side lights.
I will be changing them today.

No, just totally standard lights, but the bulbs have Xenon gas in them. I think they make a massive difference.
