Can any one help! i've got sat nav,im replacing my wind screen i want a comfort screen, but BMW say no, because it interferes with sat nav the GPS signals. That was the Service Dept then spoke to sales & he said he has sold loads with sat nav & comfort screen,he thinks the cable for the sat nav goes to the back aerial? so it wont interfere with GPS signal. Auto glass they say the same as service Dept, GPS signals go through the front screen. to the tv monitor, and interfere with the signals I have seen M3 for sale stating both.
For now i have got Auto Glass bringing out a top tint instead, but i would like a comfort screen, does any one know where the cable goes from the tv monitor.Glove box maybe or rear aerial on my cab M3 [hmm

No, it won't work

Go to bmw.co.uk and build an M3 from scratch. If you select sat nav, then subsequently select the confort screen, it will ask to delete the sat nav. They are incompatible. I don't know the reason why, but your dealer, this time, speaks the truth

Hmmm, I could have chosen Sat Nav with the 330 and I already had chosen climate screen. I had a brief chat with salesguy about it because he said why did I not want it.

Maybe it's different with the M3 but can't think why.

Ford cars with HFS still have sat nav.

Confort screen is an additional option on e46's which means your interior is kept a minimum of 10 degrees cooler than the outside. Especially useful during the summer months

With sat nav, the most you can go from the factory is grad tint windscreen.

maybe you should go to meet the guy with the M3 on autotrader, pretending you're a buyer and check it out yourself.
