CAI service

My CAI has done 17k, does it need any form of service / cleaning internally ?

not really mate unless you have been constantly driving in rough areas with lots of loose dirt/leaves etc

according to K&N manual it says you only need to clean the filter every 50-60k miles...

you can actually remove the bracket and take a look at the conical filter. If it's really dirty and you want to set your mind at ease, then by all means get a filter cleaning kit from Halfords and clean it over night [cool
